The North in Mauritius owes its reputation to Grand Baie because this seaside resort has become a favourite destination for foreign tourists over the years, thanks to sustainable development and the sustained development of real estate programs accessible to foreigners.

The Botanical Garden of Grapefruit, also known as Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, is internationally recognized by botanists for its famous collection of native and exotic plants cultivated and protected, including giant water lilies (Victoria amazonica) and numerous species of palm trees.

Go along the seaside in the direction of Cap Malheureux you will find there the northernmost part of the island. It was here that Commander-in-Chief John Abercrombie landed with all his troops when the British attacked the island for the second time in 1810.

The tourist attraction of Cap Malheureux is without context due to a charming chapel with a red roof: Our Lady of Peace.

The Hindu temple "Maheswarnath Mandir" is not to be missed and is located Triolet in the longest village on Island.

The most famous myth in Mauritius is surely that of “Paul and Virginia”. This myth was inspired by the sinking of the destroyed ship "Le Saint-Géran" on the north-east coast. A small monument indicates where the ship sank.

The only chocolate maker from Mauritius, Van Ann invites you to visit his workshop located in Calebasse, not far from the motorway of the North (M20).

On the heights of the northern motorway, you can observe a magnificent fragmenting of the name "Belle Vue", this one is composed of prestigious villas for local customers.

This factory was founded in 1992 by a Belgian national.

The Super U located in the heart of Grand Baie near the Sunset bd, you will find everything you need for food with products equivalent to what you can find in France or in Europe, you will also find different retail stores there.
